Adore Me Partners with American Cancer Society to Help Women Get Screened for Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2021

NEW YORK, November 1, 2021 / PRNewswire / – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, lingerie brand and online retailer Adore Me have partnered with the American Cancer Society to raise awareness of the importance of getting tested.

In 2020, especially during the worst times of the pandemic, the annual breast cancer screening rate declined by 60%. Mammograms are the most effective way to detect breast cancer in its early stages – and because so many women have missed their annual mammograms, there is expected to be a massive increase in undetected cases in 2021.

To raise awareness of the importance of getting tested, Adore Me participated in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Central Park. “It was great to see our different teams raising funds across the company, interacting with breast cancer survivors and hearing their stories.
