Author of children’s books visits Magnolia ISD elementary school students

New York Times bestselling author Aaron Reynolds visited Magnolia ISD elementary school students this week, encouraging them to like what they read so they like to read.

Reynolds has written numerous children’s books, including “DUDE!”, “Creepy Carrots” and “A Creepy Pair of Underwear,” a press release from Magnolia ISD said.

Reynolds’ presentations to students included how he got into reading and became a published author, the statement added.

Her presentation included discussions on her book “A Pair of Creepy Underwear,” with students creating their own pairs of lime-green paper “spooky underwear” in preparation for her visit, the statement said.

Reynolds is now working on his next series of chapters about three apprentices who become heroes of a realm after impersonating their mentors, the statement said.
