BeyoncÃ© and Adidas join the revival of Black Cowboy. The superstar and athletics and fashion giant are preparing to launch Ivy Park Rodeo, Ivy Park’s fourth offering, Adidas reported on Friday (August 6th).
“Inspired by the inimitable style and undeniable influence of black cowboys and cowgirls, the ‘IVY Park Rodeo’ collection celebrates the tremendous impact of black men and women on American Western culture,” says a statement from Adidas press. “The collection celebrates the often-hidden history of black pioneers in cowboy and cowgirl culture, and their continued influence and impact on American rodeo.”
The Rodeo collection includes 58 clothing styles and five styles of adult footwear, as well as 13 accessories, according to the announcement. Features include “unique denim monograms and bold purple glow cow prints.” Clothing options include ‘denim bodysuit’, ‘wide leg snap pants’, denim tracksuit and French terrycloth hoodie and sweatpants.
For customers who will wear their new acquisitions on the range, the collection includes denim chaps, a denim bob and shoes made to look like denim.
The announcement comes amid two complementary trends: African American history sparking new interest from American businesses and the entertainment establishment and participation in sporting events and gyms showing continued recovery after initial shutdowns. related to COVID-19.

While leggings could be the quintessential outerwear, Adidas is also expanding its stake in the underwear market, the company announced in June. The company has entered into an agreement whereby Israeli manufacturer and distributor of private label clothing Delta Alil Industries Ltd. will sell Adidas brand underwear.
Sales are expected to begin in spring 2022 in many global markets, although only women’s underwear is sold in North America.
