Clara McGregor felt “empowered” by her lingerie shoot for Bluebella.
The 25-year-old actress – whose father is actor Ewan McGregor – wanted to work with the British brand’s Christmas campaign because she likes the label to be “run by women” and focus on “made-to-order” creations. for women and not made for them. to please their partners or made for the male gaze “.
She told the brand: âI had a lot of fun doing it. The Bluebella team were amazing, and it was a really supportive environment.
“[It’s] always a little scary just wearing a bra and panties but i really got into it and it was stimulating …
“I’m very comfortable with my body in general, but the first few hits can be nerve-racking, but everyone’s vibe was so cool I was really comfortable with it.”
She praised the Bluebella collection and the way the women in their photos are presented as powerful rather than âsubmissiveâ.
She added: “These are the most beautiful lingerie I have ever seen.
“All their photos show women in positions of power, never submissive and so I was going to one day do a lingerie campaign, it would be with them.”
Meanwhile, Clara opened up about her own style of lingerie and admitted that she opted for a “classic bra, briefs and garter belt” set.
She said: âFor me with really good lingerie you can have little pieces of it or a sheer top or neckline, so when you have beautifully detailed lingerie like Bluebella you kind of want to show it off.
“And they’re comfy too. It’s not like lingerie where anything pushes you around, and they make you feel sexy just by putting them under your clothes.”
