All you have to do is take a look at Kena: Bridge of Spirits know that it will be an adventure full of fantastic elements. This game, the first from the Ember Labs team, could easily be mistaken for the latest Dreamworks or Pixar movie, but it’s a fully playable experience. He wears his inspirations on his sleeve, reminiscent of classic titles to inspire his fight, exploration, and structure, and yet weaves them all together into a world and storytelling of his own. The result is an experience that feels like a very polished game from the past, but feels like something from the future.
Kena’s quest will put her in a vast world to explore in search of a mountain sanctuary. Along the way, it will obviously encounter many pitfalls and obstacles, but also diversions. Among these distractions are the various collectibles to discover, such as Spirit Mail items. These are tucked away in areas you probably wouldn’t naturally venture into, and kept in golden bags. Once they are collected, you can forward these mystical messages to their recipients through the corresponding mailbox outside their homes for various rewards. There are only 10 in total to find, but they are quite difficult to find. Here are all Spirit Mail locations in Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
We’ll break down the guide based on the location of each specific Spirit Mail item you need to find and deliver. Once you have the Spiritual Mail, the house you need to deliver it to will be marked on your map for easy access. In addition to the treasures, hats, and other rewards you get for every message you successfully deliver, you will also get the “The Last Stop” trophy when you deliver them all. So, little spoilers to come.
This first piece of Spirit Mail is right in the center of the village. Standing in the village center area on the map, go up the stairs next to the hat seller that lead to the Taro tree. There will be several houses here, but look for the one that is all boarded up. Go around it to find a large barrel that you can move with your Rot, and drag it to a circle next to the house. Once placed, use it to jump on the roof, then inside and find the shiny gold bag containing the Spirit Mail on a shelf in the corner.
On your way to Rusu Mountain, you will have to climb different parts of the terrain. Once you meet two paths along some ledges, before you reach the broken bridge, take the right side path that you can cross that leads around the cliff and not into the cave. The Spirit Mail will be just around the corner on a small ledge.
The fastest way to reach that next letter is to quickly travel to the Water Sanctuary inside the Forgotten Forest. Once you get there, make sure the Water Sanctuary is cleaned up so you can use the Forest Teardrop to clear the corruption at the back of the ruins just to your right. This will give you access to a large slab of stone that you can move for yourself. Have them bring it back near the fast travel point and place it next to a cracked wall next to a pile of hay. Get on your new platform, use the blue flower to teleport halfway up, turn quickly to see the second one you need to shoot, then repeat this process one last time to finally reach a ledge high in the trees with the Courier Spirit resting on top.
Begin your hike to the Divine Tree Sanctuary in the Forgotten Forest until you carefully go around some ledges. Keep an eye on the bottom of the screen during this section for a branch that you can drop from the ledge. From there use your arrow to teleport to the blue flower through the hole and follow the path to that side. At the end is the bag containing this next Spirit Mail to be delivered.
Head to the middle of the Storehouse area and find the flower-covered Deadzone house. First, find the glowing rocks on the ground outside on which you can use a Spirit Bomb to create platforms to use. Jump and use a second bomb to hit another set of rocks protruding from the wall. Keep climbing, taking on a few enemies that appear, until you reach the heart of the dead zone. Destroy it by removing the flowers and allowing you access to the building. Now head inside and take the Spirit Mail.
As you explore the Forge, starting from the fast travel point, take the path on your left that runs along a cliff. Go over some roots to follow the path to an underground area. Look up to spot the shiny flower bud that you can hit with an arrow to make a forest teardrop, then use Spirit Bomb on the rocks to finish the broken bridge. Once the bridge is complete, use the Forest Teardrop to move a giant boulder to the side, causing the water to rise. Jump into the pool and swim along the left side, towards the sun, along a path to the golden satchel.
In the section of the heart of the village that is not underground, take the bridge with the cursed chest on it and head straight for the decrepit house at the end. This Spirit Mail is right inside, floating on a workbench.
Now head to the cave entrance leading to the Village Heart basement, but don’t go through the main entrance. Instead, look for an opening on the left side that leads into daylight. Once outside, head right and locate the breakable wall. Use your Spirit Bomb on the shiny rocks protruding from the wall to create a platform that you can use to reach it. Break the wall and a flower will appear that you can teleport to, but be prepared to jump over the ledge immediately so you don’t fall. Go up, follow the path to the breakable wall, destroy it with your Spirit Bomb and reveal the collector’s item hidden behind.
We’re back to the beginning now, in the village, but this spirit mail requires you to have the Dash ability, which you don’t get until you complete all of the main missions in the Fields and Village Heart areas. Once you can rush off, head to Mask Maker Path, northwest of the village center. Continue on this path until you reach a bridge flanked by rows of buildings. Go to the back of the buildings just in front of the bridge and keep your eyes peeled for a painted arrow on the ground directing you to a specific door. Follow the direction of the arrow, go up the stairs inside and jump through the pit.
From there, teleport to the flower and follow this new path to the top of the building. Sitting on a table next to the railing is the penultimate Spirit Mail.
Again, this latest Spirit Mail requires you to have unlocked the Dash ability. With him, go to the path of the warrior, which is southeast of the center of the village. After crossing the docks, go through a series of portals until you find yourself in the area where the warehouse is located. From there, climb onto the platforms, pulling yourself up onto the ledge at the top, and drop a Spirit Bomb all the way down onto shiny rocks to allow you to reach a teleportation flower.
Take this new path, but be ready for a little fight. Once the enemies are eliminated, rush through the portal that awaits you in an open area with the Spirit Mail floating next to a treasure chest. If you have successfully completed them all up to this point, you will unlock your “The Last Stop” trophy.
