In the video, a voiceover says, “We have parents who have lost their children. We have a nine-year-old daughter who will not turn 18. She will not celebrate her marriage. She will have no children of her own.

“If you have information and you withhold it, you protect the killers. We need your information. Provide us with this information and we will do the rest.

Olivia was shot dead on Monday night after an unknown man, Joseph Nee, 35, broke into her home as he was running from a gunman.

Olivia’s mother, Cheryl, was shot in the wrist trying to keep the shooter out. Nee was shot in the leg and chest. Both adults survived the attack, which police say crossed “all borders”.

Police have released on bail two men, aged 36 and 33, who were arrested on Friday on suspicion of killing Olivia. Both were from the area.

After the arrests, police said: “The investigation into Olivia’s tragic murder is ongoing and we have yet to establish a solid picture of the evidence so that we can bring those responsible to justice.”

Police released a photo of an Audi Q3 which allegedly took Nee to Aintree Hospital after being picked up by a driver and a passenger. They are keen to speak to anyone who saw this car in the days leading up to the shooting or has information about its movements after leaving Kingsheath Avenue overnight.

On Saturday, Liverpool footballer Jordan Henderson paid tribute to Olivia after the team’s 9-0 win over Bournemouth, wearing a shirt reading: “RIP Olivia YNWA [You’ll Never Walk Alone].”

Ahead of the match at Anfield, Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp said he was “incredibly shocked” to learn of Olivia’s murder.

Klopp wrote in his program notes: “Nine years? How can this happen? How is it possible? I can’t understand it and the more I think about it, the harder it becomes to understand.

“That this could happen in a city as special as this where people care about each other and stick together makes even less sense. I would like to convey the condolences of everyone in Liverpool to Olivia’s family. They are in my thoughts and prayers. »

The Anfield crowd gave the nine-year-old a standing ovation during the game.

Olivia’s murder was the third shooting death in Liverpool in the space of a week.

Police have arrested the suspected killer of Ashley Dale, a 28-year-old councilor shot dead outside her home in Old Swan last Sunday, in what is believed to be a case of mistaken identity.

Separately, three men suspected of murdering 22-year-old Sam Rimmer, shot dead in the Dingle area on August 16, have been arrested. They were released on bail.
